Helping Hands Hawaii to Receive 70 High Quality Mattresses
BedMart Mattress Superstores Honolulu, HI— BedMart, the largest family owned and operated mattress retailer in Hawaii announces its first annual donation of Tempur-Pedic mattresses to Hawaii families in need. This year BedMart will donate $70,000 worth of product at the spring donation event.
On April 4th, BedMart will donate 70 mattresses to Helping Hands Hawai’i an organization dedicated to serving Hawaii’s most vulnerable families, communities and individuals. In addition to the high quality Tempur-Pedic mattresses, BedMart will also provide complimentary mattress protectors from GBS Enterprises to help support the work of Helping Hands Hawai’i.
Since 1974, Helping Hands Hawai’i works to provide individuals, families and organizations with essential human and material resources. Helping Hands Hawai’i remains as a vital lifeline for the local community. “Many of our families struggle with poverty and find it difficult to pay for their basic necessities every month, like rent, utilities and food,” says Jan M. Harada, president and CEO of Helping Hands Hawai’i. “For them, including those who are transitioning from homelessness to housing, sleeping on a bed is a luxury that they cannot afford. This donation will make a significant and immediate impact on 70 individuals or families in our community, and we are so grateful to the team at BedMart for reaching out to help local families in need.”

The donation event will take place at the BedMart Mattress Superstores in Honolulu at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4th.
