Queen mattress weights differ based on the manufacturer and the type of mattress. There is no standard weight for mattresses. Your best bet is to check with the retailer or manufacturer on what the weight is. We try to list all the mattress weights on each product page.

An RV Queen mattress—also known as a “short queen”—measures at 60 inches wide by 75 inches long. The sizing of an RV queen mattress is slightly shorter (hence the “short queen” nickname) than a standard queen, which means it would not properly fit a queen frame. This size is more commonly used in recreational vehicles or camper vans.
A queen mattress will not fit into a full bed frame. Full mattresses—also know as “double beds”—are shorter than queen mattresses. There are some frames that are adaptable between full and queen mattresses. You will need to check the packages and/or with the vendor. Split queen mattresses consist of two separate mattress pieces that are 30 inches wide by 80 inches long. Together, the two make a standard queen size. This a great option for couples who may have different sleep needs and preferences. Split queen mattresses are not a common size option, so make sure to check with your sleep expert for brands that carry or can custom build that size for you.
No, two twin mattresses do not make a queen size mattress. The two together are actually 18 inches wider and 5 inches shorter than a queen. If you are looking for a two mattress option that is the similar size of a queen, we recommend considering a split queen mattress.
